After serving six years in prison, Remy was freed on August 1, 2014, and on December 17, 2015, she and Papoose tied the knot at the Aria Wedding and Banquet facility in Connecticut. Ma has a son, Jayson (born August 13, 2000), from a prior relationship; she is also the stepmother to Papoose’s three children, Dejanae, Shamele, and Destiny.

The pair had a daughter, Reminisce, on December 14, 2018.
