At Disneyland, Heather sang in the Golden Horseshoe Jamboree when she first went to L.A. to try out for acting roles. did meet a man there, and together they formed a band with 14 members and began performing live. Heather was the band’s main vocalist for four years, during which time they supported the likes of Mel Torme, Manhattan Transfer, and Dana Carvey on the road.

She played the role of Lydia DeLucca in the CBS sitcom That’s Life from 2000 to 2002. The second season’s theme song, “Learnin’ As I Go,” which she also sang, was a big hit. Dubrow earned his medical degree from UCLA and his master’s degree from Yale.
