On June 7, 2021, Buster’s mother Maggie Murdaugh and younger brother Paul Terry Murdaugh were discovered dead at the family’s well-known Moselle property in Islandton, Colleton County. The investigation team had a hard time proving for months that Buster’s dad had murdered his family. But in July of 2022, he was arrested and charged with his wife and son’s murders.
